Asahi Intecc's angulation wires allow the physician to steer the distal end of the endoscope navigating through the body. These high-tension angulation wires may be coated with durable, friction-resistant ptfe and nylon coatings, depending on application. In addition, the wires are encased in stainless steel coil pipes, protecting the angulation wire from the up and down sawing motion.

"Our custom high tension wires and cables offer exceptional tensile strength, as well as an immediate response from proximal endoscope handle to distal tip end", said Yoshinori Terai, President of Asahi Intecc USA, Inc. He added, "The high tensile strength of our angulation wire enables the user to operate the endoscope without concern of premature stretching, making artificial adjustments in snare or accessory deployment, or even damage to the angulation cable or wire itself."

With 35 years manufacturing experience in Japan and over twenty years in Thailand, Asahi Intecc offers small diameter monofilament stainless steel 304 and 316 wires, and stranded cables with high tension. Round monofilament wires manufactured by Asahi Intecc have exhibited tensile strength of 2900~3500 N/mm2. Outside Diameter ranges from 0.013 (0.00051") to 0.13mm (0.0051") for monofilament wire, and from 0.09mm (0.0035") for a 1x7 cable to 3mm or (0.118") for a 7x19 cable.
