Once upon a time, February 2012 to be exact, a group of medical device engineers got together and started a business in Co-Founder Jack Auld's garage. We chose the name Altaviz to represent the company's mission. “Alta” for a commitment to high standards and “viz” for visibility into vital medical product innovation. From the garage space generously sacrificed by Jack's family, we created a company built on spirited collaboration, innovation, and a passion for product commercialization.
