Specialized Engineering's Meditube brand precision extruded medical tubing is manufactured to the highest standards of quality and closest tolerance in the industry. Our ISO 9001:2000 certification proves our dedication and adherence to quality process and manufacturing management. Specialized Engineering is the largest medical tubing manufacturer in Northern California.

Our current tubing manufacturing equipment consist of ( 4 ) 1" Harrel Geartruders for standard tubing sizes to 0.250" and ( 1 ) 1.5" Harrel Geartruder for larger tubing over 0.250". We also have ( 3 ) Genca extruders that can be configured to run single, coextrusion or tri-layer polymer tubes. All of the extruders above are also capable of two and three tapered extruded tubing.

To meet your other Medical parts needs, we also provide services and have manufacturing equipment for insert molding, injection molding, thermal forming, braiding, clean room rental, subassembly, balloon blowing, and a full machine shop that is capable of fabricating all of our tooling needs.

The Specialized Engineering staff is expertly trained in assembly, extrusion, injection molding, machining, calibration and quality control. With deep experienced in the development and assembly of thermal plastic catheters, Specialized Engineering helps customers develop solutions and resolve catheter related problems that affect the assembly of their product.
