Southington Tool & Mfg. Corp. (STMC) is an industry leader in producing fourslide, wire formed and stamped products for a wide range of markets from medical and automotive to hardware and electrical. Within these markets we produce products as small as medical staples and surgical clips to something as large as face plates for door handles. In the automotive and lighting markets we supply terminals, mounting brackets, springs and a variety of other applications. Our extensive line of fourslide machines are capable of forming flat stock from .003" thick to .125" and forming wire diameters from .002" to .187".

STMC offers metal stamping services. With straight sided power presses ranging from 22 tons to 100 tons, we can stamp and form parts ranging in thickness from .002" to .156".

STMC offers tightly toleranced CNC wire forming services. Utilizing specialized forming machines with automatic wire feed and straightening, we offer a wide range of wire forming capabilities for products with wire diameters ranging from 0.010" to .120".

STMC also offers several in-house secondary operations such as: deburring, tumbling, ultrasonic cleaning, vacuum annealing, welding and assembly. Additionally, we maintain a strong base of approved suppliers for outside services such as plating, heat treating, electro-polishing and many more.
