Phillips-Medisize Corporation has been recognized as the 2015 Business of the Year in St. Croix County
February 26, 2016 (Hudson, Wisconsin) Phillips-Medisize Corporation was recognized as the 2015 Business of the Year in St. Croix County (30 or more employees) by the St. Croix Economic Development Corporation (EDC). Phillips-Medisize was honored during the annual banquet on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Kilkarney Hill Golf Club in River Falls, WI.
“We are honored to be recognized by the St. Croix EDC as the 2015 Business of the Year; we very much appreciate the support of the community. We have four facilities here, two of which we recently made capital investments in – the expansion of our medical facility in New Richmond and the Engineering Test lab in Hudson,” remarked Matt Jennings, Chairman and CEO of Phillips-Medisize. “Our global growth helps drive our growth locally, here in St. Croix County, and elsewhere in Wisconsin. St. Croix EDC disclosed criteria for the award include recent noteworthy accomplishments, such as milestone anniversary, physical plant expansion, and increase in employment, to name a few. Other information also included in consideration is contributions to enhance the community, such as contributions to community projects, service to area youth, educational programs, and other efforts to increase the quality of the community.
