Kuraray America Inc – Vectran Div

Pound for pound, Vectran™ is five times stronger than steel and ten times stronger than aluminum. Using liquid crystal polymer (LCP) technology, Vectran™ has excellent fiber tensile properties as well as a high strength modulus. Kuraray acquired Vectran™ from Celanese in 2005, and continues to produce this unique fiber in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
