ANAHEIM, Calif. The Dual Hoop Catheter DISK was reviewed during HealthPack‘s annual “Voice of the Customer – Nurses & Technicians” panel held March 8, 2017 in Denver, Colorado. The panelists were impressed with the fact that the DISK retains multiple catheters and procedural components in one package and said “it is easy to remove the devices from the card”. A few of the nurses and technicians demonstrated the “dumping” technique in which packages are opened and the contents are dropped into the sterile field, versus being handed to another professional. The DISK scored high marks in this area as well, as stated by one nurse “It is better that it doesn’t jump off the table.”
