Enfield’s position control systems provide infinite control-ability across a full actuator stroke and can smoothly follow a continuously changing position command. This allows designers to tackle high speed and high force applications with less cost and space than electric drives for the same load capacity. Proportional pneumatic positioning can replace hydraulics in applications requiring cleanliness. These systems are quieter than standard pneumatics and have less jitter than found in other pneumatic positioning systems.

Enfield’s pressure control systems deliver superior static and dynamic performance pressure regulation. In the industry these pressure regulators are also known as EPR, I/P, or E/P. A single Enfield EPR can control full vacuum through high pressure with remarkable repeatability and accuracy, and near-perfect linearity. These systems do not require a minimum liftoff pressure, so control is truly ‘rail-to-rail’. The entirety of this performance is achieved without parasitic air consumption which saves energy.
