Cosmed, the preferred alternative for sterilization equipment and services, was founded in 1981 to sterilize medical devices and agricultural commodities. The company grew to be among the largest contract sterilization companies in the United States until it divested its five medical device facilities in 2005 to focus on food safety, an industry that the company continues to serve. In 2012 Cosmed reentered the medical device sterilization arena and is now offering its world class equipment to the marketplace including ethylene oxide & steam sterilizers, scrubbers, control systems, and related accessories.
