ViVitro Labs announces
additional industry leaders have joined its advisory board and strategic
planning team to support ViVitro’s global growth and broadened cardiovascular
device testing applications.
Dr.
Ivan Vesely, Vascular Product Technical Specialist at BSI, and noted heart
valve scientist formerly from The Cleveland Clinic, joins the ViVitro Labs
business advisory board.
“Dr.
Vesely brings extensive experience in areas key to ViVitro’s future plans
including heart valves, device testing, and new product development for medical
devices. He is a strong complement to our current advisors, Dr. John Webb and
Dr. Mano Thubrikar,” explains Gerry Wight, ViVitro Labs GM.
In addition to expanding the
Vivitro Labs business advisory board, the two principals of PROTOMEDLABS SAS,
ViVitro Labs sales agent for Europe, Africa, and Israel, will add their
extensive industry experience to ViVitro product applications and strategic
direction initiatives. Karim Mouneimne, President, and Vincent Garitey PhD,
Vice President of Engineering, will work directly with the ViVitro Labs team to
create new products and services that meet the expanding need for
cardiovascular repair device testing, simulation and training. PROTOMEDLABS SAS
will remain an independent sales agent with Messrs. Mouneimne and Garitey
retaining their respective leadership positions.
“We
are seeing new opportunities in an expanding market,” notes Gerry Wight. “To
leverage these opportunities we are heading in a new strategic direction that
will open new markets and enable us to bring new testing products to market. To
ensure we meet our customers’ requirements we are very pleased to have the
experience and industry knowledge that Karim and Vincent have to guide us in
developing these new products and introducing them to the global marketplace.”
