Uson LP has announced the achievement of ISO 17025 for the company's calibration services laboratory following recent investment in the facility at it's Houston, TX headquarters.
(Houston, TX, USA ) Houston , TX based Uson , world leading manufacturer of leak testers and leak detection systems for the automotive, transportation, medical, industrial and packaging industries, has announced the achievement of ISO 17025 certification for its calibration laboratory.
Uson has recently invested heavily in a new calibration lab, a world class facility to support best-of-kind instrumentation. The new lab has a fully controlled environment with its own dedicated HVAC and dehumidifier systems with constant pressure of 0.05 IN WC, controlled temperature of 72°F and humidity controlled @ 40%. It includes a water manometer that is sensitive to the magnitude of atmospheric changes that most other equipment would consider noise. Flowrate is measured via a Fluke Molbloc-L Laminar Flow Element (LFE) with the ability to measure 0.1 SCCM to 100,000 SCCM by using three different sizes of Smart LFE’s. COMPASS® Pressure Calibration Software, also from Fluke, prints out the calibration results that are included with every leak tester and leak master shipped by Uson.
