PHOENIX, AZ – December 21, 2010– Suntron Corporation, a leader in the area of integrated Electronics Manufacturing Solutions (EMS) and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) technology with four (4) North American production facilities, announced today they have received their International Organization for Standardization  (ISO) 13485:2003 certification for their Mexico facility.  

“We have an increased focus on the growing medical device segment of the OEM industry as it becomes a larger footprint in our overall business plan,” states Rod Gunther, Plant Manager for Suntron de Mexico facility. “Obtaining ISO 13485 positions us to offer a Low Cost Region option to our clients in both domestic and international markets.”

ISO13485 certification, with its emphasis in regulatory requirements specific to maintaining stringent processes for the safe manufacture and distribution of medical devices, reinforces Suntron’s efforts for seamless consistency across facilities.
