New injection molded design replaces adhesive bonding on peristaltic pump tubing to reduce cost and improve reliability.
Forefront Medical Technology has developed a new specialty silicone tubing assembly for high performance pumps used for drug delivery systems. The specialty silicone peristaltic pump component is designed to mechanically lock onto mating connectors. This innovative design eliminates the need for adhesives, as well as the additional costs/concerns associated with adhesive bonding this critical assembly. Custom constructions are available for unique application requirements. The pump tubing is available separately or as part of a complete infusion set.
