Biomedical Textile Company Poised for Growth
Perkasie, Penna. – May 17, 2010 – Secant Medical™, the industry leader in design, development, and custom manufacturing services for biomedical textiles, has hired several key strategic leaders to support its growth and expansion goals in the rapidly changing biomedical textile market.
Kenneth Ross joins the company as Director of Business Development, handling accounts in the Soft Tissue and General Surgery medical device market, after seven years in senior level positions with Dew Technologies in Fairborn, Ohio. Ross is a business development professional with experience leading sales growth, positioning and branding in the highly competitive medical marketplace. He has also assisted in developing strategic/business plans, driving profitability and EBITDA targets, developing and managing cross-functional teams, and maximizing shareholder value. Prior to Dew Technologies, he worked with Architects Associated, Inc. in Dayton, Ohio, and Depuy Orthopedics, a Johnson & Johnson Company, in Warsaw, Indiana.
Tony J. Troiano was named Lean Champion for Secant Medical and has more than a decade of experience in manufacturing and transactional continuous improvement, manufacturing operations, and product and process design in both established and developing organizations such as the Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center, The Vanguard Group, Samsung Electronics and Whirlpool Corporation. His current responsibilities include providing training and hands-on, implementation in Operational Excellence methodologies, and leading both short- and long-term efforts to transform Secant into a Lean Enterprise.
Joan M. Anthony was hired as Marketing Manager, with responsibility for overseeing all marketing, communications, and business development support programs. She has more than 10 years global marketing management experience with Hewlett-Packard Company that included marketing programs management, product marketing, integrated marketing communications, customer relationship management, direct and web marketing, and closed-loop demand generation.
