Trenton, NJ – September 10, 2013 - KNF Neuberger announces its NMP09 micro diaphragm gas sampling pumps now feature enhanced flow repeatability for predictable flow at controlled speeds, and superior leak tightness. The newly improved micro diaphragm gas pumps provide design engineers with a powerful combination of size and efficiency without sacrificing performance. NMP09 pumps offer long life, efficiency, and high accuracy sample delivery in applications such as ambient and source environmental monitoring, IVD systems, and anesthesia monitoring in both chassis mount and battery powered devices.
The KNF NMP09 pump series offers very linear and predictable voltage input vs. flow output performance. Thus, an OEM device can reliably operate more slowly for lower current draw, quieter operation, and longer pump life. Complementing KNF NMP09’s linear flow is its minimal leakage. While preventing gas from escaping, the exceptional leak tightness of the KNF NMP09 also prevents the introduction of ambient air that can contaminate the sample. This is vital for gas measurement applications requiring precision measurement.
In addition to enhanced flow repeatability and superior leak tightness, KNF NMP09 is equipped with a patented, stress-optimized structured diaphragm, resulting in high pneumatic performance despite its compact size. The NMP09 can operate in any installed position and is available with a selection of DC motors to meet specific application needs. Special materials of construction such as stainless steel, PTFE, etc. are also available.
