Rochester NH, December 20—Phase 2 Medical, a leader in medical device manufacturing, has been named a semifinalist by Business New Hampshire Magazine as one of the Best Companies to Work For in 2012.

Each year, Business New Hampshire Magazine teams up with New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility and Bruce Mast & Associates to select the finalists after the Magazine Staff selects the 20 finalists. 

The magazine cited Phase 2 medical device manufacturer for it many policies that keep employees happy long term. For example, Phase 2 medical device manufacturing pays bonuses up to 10 percent of earnings. They also keep their employees involved through charitable, safety and fun committees. The 88 employees also have two annual celebrations each year, fresh fruit is provided every Monday and in summer months, the freezer is stocked with popsicles.

To demonstrate that to err is human, senior staff members wear a chicken hat at communications meetings whenever they’ve made a mistake.
