Asahi Intecc Awarded Grand Prize at MEDTEC Innovations Awards

Asahi Intecc Co., Ltd. was awarded the grand prize at the MEDTEC Innovation Awards at this year’s MEDTEC Japan 2012 (Pacifico Yokohama, April 18-19), a leading conference for medical component manufacturers.

April 20, 2012 — Asahi Intecc Co., Ltd. was awarded the grand prize at the MEDTEC Innovation Awards at this year’s MEDTEC Japan 2012 (Pacifico Yokohama, April 18-19), a leading conference for medical component manufacturers. The prize was awarded for “ACTONE Technology; Expanding the Limits of Medical Devices.” Asahi Intecc’s ACTONE technology was praised as a high-grade component helping to improve success rates in treatments for ischemic heart disease, both as a component in various devices and in Asahi Intecc branded guide wires and catheters.
